Generation Care's mission and goal is to educate and equip students with techniques and resources and to offer assistance and guidance in situations where help is needed. The goal is to empower teens with the tools needed to assist their peers in a crisis. Generation Care aims to offer courses, resource guides and first aid kits to teens in the community. |
We are completing our third project (2024), The Generation Vote. This year we decided to promote awareness on the importance of voting among young people. Our goal was to educate and engage young generations to register to vote (if eligible) and participate in elections once they are of age. We hosted various of activities such as the voting process workshops, and had guest speakers. We hope to culminate our project by awarding 3 student with a small scholarship.

Our first project (2021) was A Virtual Mental Health Message Wellness Fair. Our goal was to promote awareness, offer resources, information, and to destigmatize mental health, by focusing on the body, self-esteem and education. The event was opened to other students, community members, and other classmates from surrounding schools and cities.

Last year, we completed our second project (2022), The Generation Flo. Our goal was to fight "period poverty" and provide-confidence to women and people who menstruate by hosting various activities such as, mensuration workshops, guest speakers, and building period kits. We culminate our project by distributing period kits to the community on May 28th (National Menstrual Hygiene Day).
